AMP Fort Wayne

I forgot to ask.

I was checking out the WBTU/Fort Wayne website the other day and didn't see a mention of any jocks working for the station. Did their entire airstaff get blown out or did they just opt out from putting the jock bios on the new website? Also, any new personalities over at the reincarnated (sort of) "Sunny 106.3"?

Just curious.

As to the jocks on WBTU - there's only 2 left (Kenny Edwards and Dale Christopher)...

As far as Sunny with staff - hahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

And from that, we have a glimpse as to what's in the future for the formerly mighty U93. It's not likely to happen (at least not right now), but what if someone else in South Bend started smelling blood and launched another CHR in town? I think Power's done almost all the damage that it can do on it's small signal, and you can't sell everyone on hiphop.

This has already been done to some degree at AMP in South Bend (a couple of times), due to the fact that they had personnel issues and were short-changed on staff. The jocks at WZOW and U93 were cross-covering shifts like crazy last fall - right in the middle of the fall book. I don't remember how many weeks it went on for, but I'm sure the air staff didn't find it enjoyable. If VT'ing was an option, it could have been done then, but it wasn't, as far as I could tell.

Don't take any crap Dana! I haven't heard the market in years...but I am VERY confident that even Shine 99 sounds better than Crawfordsville.
