I still have an AM stereo Walkman -- I have not checked WWII -- the preachers are generally in mono anyway. WICC (600), Bridgeport, CT is still in AM stereo.

In the Boston area, WJIB 740 Cambridge, MA (Adult Standards) is still in full glorious AM stereo, and sounds great! They go to lower power at night, but still in AM stereo.

Also, WLYN 1360 Lynn, MA (Ethnic) still has their AM stereo carrier on when running their full power sunrise to sunset (their lower power night signal is mono), but for the past few months their audio has been left channel only.

Last time I drove west of Boston last winter, WVEI 1440 Worcester, MA still had their AM stereo carrier on, but their programming is all a direct simulcast of a Boston AM sports talk station which broadcasts in mono.
