Amusing...

I thought it was amusing to hear Dee Haley doing a traffic report at 11am on WBEN about a serious accident today. She is WHLD's news reader from Metro. How funny is that?!

Also...if Entercom had planned KB's format change a year in advance like Tim Wenger says, why do they already have a different station ID/promo voice? Hank Dole was who we heard for the last few weeks in what sounded like hastily thrown together liners and IDs with zero production value. The new ones are much better with someone else.

Tim the Toady said it was planned. He didn't say it was executed.

Let's see if I can make up some excuses for Tim:

"We didn't want to tip our hand."

"The guy who did ID's and liners for WBUF's foray into talk wasn't available."

"We didn't want to tick off Rush by asking him to do liners for a lib-talk station."

"We had the guy who does liners for The Lake do them for KB, but the production guys kept falling asleep when they tried to load them into the computer system."

Hey - that's it! I just thought of a perfect name for The Lake Liner Guy. "Sam Serta". He'll put you out faster than a Beauty Rest.
