Sad to see the show go off the air. Wonder if another network would give it a chance again, Maybe the ID Channel it would be a good fit. Why did they take it off--- poor ratings??

Here's an idea: Why not have My Network TV air 'America's Most Wanted'? Personally, considering the long history on Fox AND the fact that the two networks that are co-owned, I think it would be a better fit on MyNet...

Or better yet, move it to ION Television? It would be the second most-watched show on there (behind WWE Main Event) since the bulk of their primetime schedule are reruns of crime dramas anyway!

Lifetime is working with Walsh on a new series, so I doubt AMW will be resurrected anywhere.

Here's an idea: Why not have My Network TV air 'America's Most Wanted'? Personally, considering the long history on Fox AND the fact that the two networks that are co-owned, I think it would be a better fit on MyNet...

MyNetworkTV, TruTV, and even Ion Television like someone else mentioned...all of those seemed to make more sense as homes for the show.

Thinking about it though, Lifetime isn't some fledgling channel struggling for viewers. So if AMW couldn't make it there with half-competent promotion, it might be time for a fresher show to replace it. Maybe there's some mileage in some AMW specials if not necessarily a weekly series.

AMW, of course, serves an important purpose, but this is a show that has been on the air for the better part of 25 years. All those networks mentioned, I would agree, would be great homes for the show; hell, even Fox News Channel would be another option.

I think, however, it would be best serve as a monthly series if nothing else.

The four quarterly specials ended last April 2012.
