Amy Caples, last of Channel 3 Eyewitness News' 5-7 AM show, was filling in for Carol MacKenzie this morning on KYW Newsradio, co-anchoring the :00-:30 half hours with Harry Donahue. She sounds great. Hasn't missed a beat from her former KYW Newsradio anchoring days. She's not on the station's Web site under "staff." Wonder if this is a one-time appearance, or whether she's coming back.
 
I read that she is filling in for someone on maternity leave. She said yes to the short term opportunity because it will help her with her teaching duties at Temple since technology in radio has changed so much since her last stint at KYW radio.

READ: KY fired all their engineers/board ops and she's afraid to run her own board.
