AMY WRIGHT ON 101.5 (AND ON 97.3)

am i the only person whom appreciates her ? her witicisms , voice is totally fun .... is she on any other radio station ? i can only hear her on sunday mornings .... maybe she's on some north jersey station ? (not that i can get in anyof those)

You're not alone at all... Several years ago I happened to find myself stuck in the car a lot early on Sunday mornings and enjoyed listening to Amy-- not only because she's a good talent and has a nice voice, but also because it seemed every other station at the time was running awful public affairs blockage.

I'm pretty sure that Amy runs her own business of some kind, hence only the one shift on Sunday mornings. It seems to keep her happy. She's bee doing it since the late '90s.

How much more utililized could she be, now that NJ101.5 has cut back to music to weekends only, unlike the days of Willie Twyman and the 3rd shift.

Two weekend shifts, or Tommy G's Sunday night shift, when they music goes "back away" for the weekend.

Maybe she should have been considered for the "under the boardwalk" or Michelle Pilenza show, doing a "lite at night" type of show. Or maybe she could have taken some other shift in the Millenium family (down at Sojo, perhaps).

Don't know the woman, just think she's good, talking to the people, rather than at them.
