An Aircheck of CJ's Return to Mornings on "The Wolf"

If case you've missed it, I recorded the entire show this morning since I stayed home from work, I started recording at around 5:55 AM and it would continued until 10 AM as the show ended. I listened to the show and it was great, but it's good to hear CJ back on the air after leaving WRWD back around mid-March to make way for the return of Tommy Lee Walker. He hasn't been heard in the HV airwaves during the last 9 months, but it's great to hear him coming back and do it again on its frequency where it belong and calling it home. CJ started at 94.3 back around 1992 or 1993 during afternoon drive on WBPM's original "B94" when it was a Top 40/CHR station. That show lasted until 1999 when it became "Rhythm 94.3" as a "Jammin' Oldies" station while CJ moved to mornings back around 2000 until he left in 2001 when the it became "Cool 94.3" as a oldies station for a short time which is now a country station. While he was doing mornings on "Rhythm 94.3", he joined WPKF's "Kiss-FM" to do middays back in 2001 when the station first hit the airwaves as a CHR station. By around 2004 while "Kiss-FM" leaned to a more urban approach, he went to afternoon drive again until 2005 or 2006 when he did his own morning show called "CJ's Playhouse" and it continued until he left in 2009. I have some airchecks of CJ from his days on "Kiss-FM" as a Top 40 station. After he left WPKF, he joined WRWD where he hosted "CJ in the Morning" with his sidekick, Dee. I have plenty of airchecks of CJ when he was on WRWD back in 2009 and the one from last year. He left the station back in the middle of March like I mentioned at the top and he took an 8-month break from the station. As of right now, he returned to the airwaves and got his own morning show which will now be hearing right now. This is CJ where he returned after an 8-month absence from the airwaves to do mornings on "The Wolf". Jack Hammer did his last "Morning Wolf Den" last week until he left to make way for CJ. At first, he was on 94.3 in the beginning, and then, he went to 96.1 and on 107.3 and then came back right where it belongs on 94.3.

This aircheck is in 4 parts, and you will hear CJ making its return to the airwaves and of course some phone calls about his return and you'll hear some country and a few Christmas songs during this aircheck. I hope you'll enjoy CJ where he makes his emotional comeback on "The Wolf". Enjoy while you can.

After listening to the show this past Monday, I noticed that CJ did not played his closing theme which is one of his favorite song of all time to round out his morning show. The name of the song is "Black Betty" by Ram Jam. He played that song back in his "B94" days as the closing theme, and so does "Kiss-FM" and WRWD, but why should've included this one on "The Wolf"? This is far better than Dan Ingram's closing theme "Tri-Fi Drums". If you haven't heard this one, here is the entire song of CJ famous closing theme. Enjoy!

Disney-
please do not put Dan Ingram in the same sentence with cj---there's nobody around here that could shine Big Dan's shoes.. And Ram Jam doesn't exactly sound like country.....
