An article in the OC register about The Wave Format flip rumors

Actually the best part of the article was this post off of the "Readers Comments" section....

KTWV 94.7, has already changed format. It is playing mostly crappy oldies soft rock vocals with couple of pop version of instrumentals thrown in.

If not sooner, In 3 months it will be either another spanish station or another kiss/amp bubble gum top 40

There is no way it will be another Top 40 since CBS owns AMP.

Why would they want to move the station to Spain? I don't even think that is legal...

Is it a good Idea for KSBR to buy the 94.7 Frequency at this time to attract more listeners.

Where would a Community College District get the $75 to $90 million that KTWV is likely worth today?

Probably for the same reason they would want to move the "English" stations across the water over to England... :D

For those of us who don't hable espanol...we just refer to spanish stations as such because we probably don't know the English equivalent for that particular format. It's not a conspiracy... ;)
