An Engineer's Help Needed

The International College Of Broadcasting in Dayton, Ohio is in need of some engineering help.

More specifically, the school is in the process of building an internet radio station that will live on the school's website.

We're rebuilding the studio using some existing equipment, as well as some new equipment, but here's our problem: We have an Arrakis 500 SC rotary pot console. It works well, but is in need of some TLC. It's wired in mono, but appears to be a stereo console. If possible, we would like to get it wired back into stereo, get a few minor issues repaired in the board and get the PC that will run the station wired properly into it so that we can run the station in the program channel, and voice track through the audition channel. And lastly, we would want some assistance in getting the whole thing through our streaming software and over to our website. We plan to use Live 365 to host the station.

We will be using Station Playlist studio and creator as the station software, which offers live, live assist, tracked and automated operation.

The computer is brand new, loaded with Windows XP Pro, with a core 2 quad processor, plenty of speed and hard drive space. (2 hard drives, in fact...one for the software programs, the other for the station music libraries, imaging, commercials, etc.)

Obviously, the school would pay you for your time and effort and the parts needed to get the job done.

Please contact me if you're interested. I wish I could do it all myself, but I'm a programmer, not an engineer.

You can reach me at: [email protected]. And I will then hook you up with the people at the school to make the final arrangements.
