You are invited to Radio Central as CHRS and BARHOF 2014 Class Member Peter Finch will share his stories with us. Come meet and greet this Bay Area radio luminary who is a distinguished figure in Bay Area radio, with close to 50 years of service, including 18 years as News Director at KFOG. He is renowned for creating the 'Fog Files' news feature on KFOG's Morning Show and later the 'Finch Files' on KGO. Peter's career also includes roles at KMEL, KGO, and now at KCBS. Peter was inducted into the Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame in 2014. He majored in Broadcast Communications at San Francisco State University. While attending SF State, he landed an internship at KMEL. He went on to earn a master’s degree from the University of Colorado in Journalism and Mass Communication. Peter is also a playwright and has directed many live radio plays for CHRS' annual Radio Day By The Bay celebration. Peter has been a passionate supporter of CHRS & BARHOF for many years... And is a swell guy!
