An exodus is bound to happen.

As Cumulus plans to take over Susquehanna and Full-Powered Top 40 KRBE (104.1), Layoffs are happening right now as we speak with some of the stations' staffers that are now receiving pink slips. Among those are GM Mark Schecterle and PD Andy ("Hootie") Houdak. Patrick Fant now takes over the operations at KRBE. Also there were layoffs in Atlanta which also means that both of its stations Susquehanna used to operate will go on to a whole new direction. Atlanta-based Cumulus has virtually fired everybody from 99X and Q-100.3, as Cumulus wants to start everything from scratch. There could be a speculation that 104 will remain a Top 40 station after all-But it will be completely different so that the ownership of this will go into effect on 5/8.

The dark cloud over Susquehanna seems bent on erasing any signs that a competent radio company ever ran the 30 odd stations once owned by proud radio operators.

I am just wondering when will the clock strike-and I need to find out anything about who'll be safe-and who won't after Cumulus takes over 104.
