This isn't directly related to NoFla, but it's still of interest as a whole.
Heard today on Tampa's 97X...
"How would you know what to put in your iPod if you didn't listen? Tampa Bay's New Rock Alternative, 97X."
I like this. There's ONE radio station I've heard that acknowledges its audience can (and likely does) go elsewhere for music.
So is this the modern version of the night jock telling everyone to get their tape recorders ready?
And most important, is this how a new music station can sell itself and still be perceived as relevant? Gotta give the people a reason to keep tuning in, whatever that reason is.
