An Idea-A Master Aircheck Collectors List

Guest
I was talking to John Yanagi tonight, and came up with an idea that could help everyone out with trades and sources. I would like to put together a master list of aircheck traders, with names, emails, addresses and phone numbers. This list will NOT be posted here, only emailed as a Word Document to all those that sign up for it. In addition, phone numbers will NOT be published, but held only by me on the Master Copy. I have found it convenient at times to have phone numbers to contact someone if I'm not at a computer. Also, if you have an IM name on AIM, MSN Messenger or Yahoo Messenger that you would like included, let me know that also. Your privacy will be respected at all times. I am also appointing John Yanagi as the Assistant Aircheck Master List Keeper, since he's been doing this almost as long as I have. If you have any questions at all, feel free to email me.

This list is not only for those that post here, but other aircheckers we all deal with. Ask your aircheck buddies if they would like to be included, and email with your information, and theirs. I already have most everyone here's info except for phone numbers, but I'm not going to do anything without your okay. I know that I have sources that don't make many trades, as I'm sure the rest of you have also. I'd like to be able to have a name next to the Top 50 Arbitron rated markets, if not more. Thanks! Ideas: What Fields to Include on the List

Some ideas on what the list could include:

Trading Interests
-currents y/n
-specific years, stations, formats, or interests?
-will they accept many different things?
-un/scoped

Media Formats
-cassette
-MD
-Audio CD
-mp3 (online or on CD)
-VHS
-Reel to reel

Collection
-Do you have a list of archived airchecks available?

Tapeables
-Name of exact commuity (to look up likely tapeables)
-Will you scope airchecks you record for others?

Just some ideas...

Matt, count me in. When you get the format set up, let me know and I'll e-mail you my info.

Yes, although I prefer not to give out my phone number, even for the master copy.

Matt,

You have my information and my phone number. Please list me. I am in Austin, Texas and can receive some San Antonio stations. For the right incentive, I would consider driving to New Braunfels, Texas to record San Antonio airchecks while plugged into an outside outlet. I found a pretty good place for that down there. I have done this before for myself and for others who wanted San Antonio airchecks. By incentive, I do not mean money either.

Thanks Matt.
