An Idea for KDKA

In the 80s, KDKA Pittsburgh would pre-empt As The World Turns for Pittsburgh 2day, but What if I was the PD at KDKA, then I would move Pittsburgh 2Day to 4pm, and As The World Turns to 1:30pm. Then I would move Hour Magazine to WTAE 4

I remember being upset when i visited my Grandma back in the 1950's and 60's and not being able to see As The World Turns at all on KDKA because they ran something called The Big Movie! How about that!
I was about 8 years old at the time.

Hour Magazine was produced by Group W, which practically
necessitated KDKA running it.

BTW WTAE also had a history of delaying/pre-empting a lot of ABC Daytime fare as well. But as for picking up Group W fare they wouldn't bother with it anyway since they were very contented with "Dinah," "The Flintstones," "Tom & Jerry," "Bewitched," The Brady Bunch," "Laverne & Shirley," "Family Feud," or any other syndicated fare they would pay big money for.

In the 70's through the early 80's, WTAE shifted GENERAL HOSPITAL and EDGE OF NIGHT to 9:30 AM - 11 AM (one day delay) weekdays to make way for a game show at 3 PM, followed by an hour of cartoons at 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM.
