An idea for WSB

I am growing tired of political talk at night. I would really like to hear some sports talk or at least something that isn't political. What about rebroadcast of classic Munson games during the month of August? I love hearing him very much but how long is he going to be blessing us here on Earth? When he is gone that's it. We should get our fix now before that happens. Even some of the old Falcons games would be cool. Every once in awhile ESPN Classic airs some footage from the late 80's and it brings back memories of my childhood.

Just some ideas. But it will never work because of contracts and such.
______________

Why would WSB put huge ratings at risk with new programming?

they wouldn't. That's why my idea makes no sense.

Best post ever seen at Radio-Info.com. A ribbon on the way.

It would be one thing if they had a live late night talk show, because our market has none. It's the replays of the earlier programming. I'd like to see someone out there come with a live late night talk show. It wouldn't necesarily have to be political, but it might be nice hear some good talk while most of the complainers are in bed.

It can be done, Exhibit A: WBT 1110 w/John Hancock from 6-9P. Live, local, and a lot less political than the rest of the day. Of course, WBT doesn't have any real N/T competition because they own the other part-time talker in town on the FM side.
______________

Honestly, either-
A) Bring back the Royal Treatment- which was some political, some fun
-or-
B) Arum & The Kickstand- They do a great job, that they need to do a daily talkshow
______________
