an idea i think a lot of people will like

So, whtq's ratings are down. i know how to fix that. why not put bubba on in the morning and throw in a few more 80s and 90s rock tracks in to the playlist? i think that would help htq out a great deal. plus bubba would be back in orlando and i would defanatly listen to htq if they did that. i listen to it on and off but if they did that, they'd be number one in my book. thoughts?

Or how about Bob and Tom? I always thought that they would be terrific for HTQ's format. The only problem with that is.. well.. it's Bob and Tom. They're not exactly the "family friendly" morning show. Although, personally, I LMAO when I heard them in the Midwest.

Bubba is not going to last on terestrial radio. He will burn out fast doing two different kinds of shows at two different times of the day. He'll slip, say and/or do the wrong thing and get fined and/or fired. If WHTQ wants to improve ratings IMHO they need to go mainstream rock, but that will never happen.

While I am a huge Bob and Tom fan from back in their early (pre-syndicated) days, I think that they really need to bring back JB&B. That was a huge loss for the station.

yes jb and b. not opposed. but i hear them about everyday on "93.1 kro country" out of daytona. now mind you, they do not have a vary powerfull signal, but i find them to do quite well heer in altamonte. now mind you, i don't listen to the station at all except for that.

Or find a good local morning show. Believe it or not, there are quality personalities already in the market who could actually do a morning show to make that station work.As it is, HTQ is stale, boring and predictable. I turned it on for the the first time is six months the other afternoon and -- whaddya know-- "Stairway to Heaven." Are there still listeners who hear that come on the radio and go ,"Oh, yeah!" ? I'm in the demo, and I'm sick of "Stairway," "Sweet Home Alabama, " and anything by Pink Floyd.Thankfully, my iPod is charged up. Now if they were to get an intertesting morning show...

yeah. 96.5 is like an ipod shuffle with classic rock on it on shuffle. only a few hundred songs. i wished it was more like the bone in tampa. now i could listen to that. rock in jax is the same way. why not whtq here? i don't see why not. it's owned by the same company and they both did the same thing that htq did before adding more songs. i'm praying cox orlando sees that and does it for here. just a thought.
