An "Old Timer's" Perfect Gift...

Will it still play carts, though? That would actually make it even sweeter. That and when the tape recycles, it will make the lamp flash on and off. ;D
 
We had one of these made for our owner. They used an old ITC SP we supplied, and they installed allthread right behind the headstack, so the playback head wires had to be removed. So, no more audio, although the transport might still work OK (we didn't try it out, since the original power cord was also removed).

Oh, that's a shame. But at least it is an idea for what to do with a beyond-all-hope tape machine.
