WQMA may NOT be dead afterall.........
On 6/09/2006, Mr Konarz finally filed a License Renewal which was accepted for filing, over 2 years past it's due date!

Filed almost 2 weeks later was an STA for Unknown Reasons, but most likely it's allowing WQMA to remain on the air till the License Renewal Issue is resolved

First off, I want to know what prompted him to FINALLY file his renewal after all this time? Secondly, the FCC is going to require he pay his fine of $20,000 before the license is renewed. he may get the fine reduced, but not totally eliminated yet I think he'll still have trouble with that.
With that being said, he doesn't seem to concerned as Me and several others in my group have offered to help him out yet he's blown us all off and ignored us. I've even made several attempts(via email) to offer to buy WQMA and I've been ignored too.
I have no ill-feelings towards WQMA nor do I wanna see the station disapepar, despite what some on here might think. It's a valuable and could be a VIABLE asset to Quitman County if someone who owned it knew what they were doing...
