Analog shutoff times

Here's the analog shutoff times from abc15.com (http://www.abc15.com/content/news/i...x-TV-goes-digital/6imDb0puuEii2w0JzIUg0w.cspx):
KTVK (IND) - 12:01 am (on June 12 not June 13) (will air analog nightlight service for 30 days after June 12)
KPHO (CBS) - 11:59 pm (will air analog nightlight service for 30 days after June 12)
KSAZ (FOX) - 8:30 am
KPNX (NBC) - 10:12 pm
KNXV (ABC) - 12:01 am (on June 12 not June 13)
KTVW (UNI) - 10:59 pm
KUTP (MY) - 8:30 am
KASW (CW) - 12:01 am (on June 12 not June 13)

KSAZ (FOX) - 8:30 am
KPNX (NBC) - 10:12 pm
KUTP (MY) - 8:30 am

These guys are BRAVE to switch analog off in prime viewing time. Especially KPNX, right in the middle of their late night news.

Hope they have plenty of phone lines open. ;D

Even though it's not sweeps, Mc12 needed another gimmick, and Curtis refused to
shave off his mustache again. ;)

KNXV shut off on time - the last face you saw on KNXV analog was that of Katie Raml. Their translators have shut off for overnight.

They'll be cutting their digital over from ch 56 to ch 15 tonight and expect to have service to translators back by 6 am.

As of 12:10 am, KTVK and KASW are still running normal analog programming. If the clock on their website is accurate, expect an 11:59 pm shutoff.

Nothing but snow on analog 15 @ 1215 am.

3 & 61 are still running the 'this TV is not DTV ready' crawl. No nightlight service yet. I didn't see any special announcement on 3 digital.

Tried rescanning just after midnight, no new channels found yet.

Disregard that last post. I took the rabbit ears off the converter box & plugged them directly into the TV set so that was why no signal. Nevermind.

Finally got a response from KTVK - KASW shuts analog off at 4:30 am and KTVK switches over to analog nightlight at the same time, so they don't really shut off yet.

I saw a little bit of No Doubt after Raml, mind you ;)

10 am and Fox 10 is unwatchable -- not referring to the programming. Heavy blocking and pixellization when there is a signal at all.

10 is coming in fine in S. Tempe on a combo external antenna. I think they changed their digital signal from UHF back to VHF channel 10 so you may have trouble getting it with a UHF-only antenna.

Works better now. Must have been doing some tuning at the time.

I had problems receiving almost all my channels, until Channel 12 said it is best to point internal TV antennas toward the window, since stucco homes have metal wiring, and interferes with reception.

If you have problems receiving a signal, try point the antenna towards the nearest window. That should solve the problem.

That's because they shut off both their analog on ch 33 AND their digital on ch 34 at 10:59 pm. When they returned, they were digital-only on ch 33.

Looks like the nightlights have been turned off at Channels 3 and 5. Both were off the air yesterday morning. Gone for good or just temporary?

It's permanent. KMSB in Tucson also. KPHO and KMSB were scheduled to shut off last Friday, while KTVK and KUAS were supposed to continue until July 12. I'd planned to record the final shutoffs on 5 and 11, but both stations were already off by the time I got home from work Friday. Ditto with KTVK. KUAS is still running theirs.
