ANALOG TV SHUT OFFS

Ijust heard that WLNE in Providence and WWLP in Springfield shut off their nightline analog signals on the 16th. Any other stations shutting off analog soon?

WWDP-TV (analog 46, Norwell-Boston, MA) shut down at exactly 12 noon on the 16th. I had the privilege of pulling the old switch for the last time (thanks to WWDP's CE, Davor Haler).

I do believe that WBPX/68 and WPXG/21 have gone silent on analog as well.

Seeing you did the analog shutoff for WWDP Peter, what's the power and height on their digital signal? In Pawtucket, I cannot receive their digital signal at all. Are they nulled to the southwest?

Currently, they are running 5,000 watts (ERP) at 142 meters. I believe they are non-directional at the present time. They do have an application for 11,000 watts (give or take a few) to improve the area of which they already have a footprint. Even though I left WWDP about 7 years ago, I still keep in touch with my good buddies over there.
