Ancient Modulation Irrational Exuberance

$1.85m for 7~Forty? YIKES!! http://news.****************/cgi-bin/rol.exe/headline_id=b13411

The premium price undoubtedly was reached when the new owners realized listeners could hear not only KIDR, but KCBS at night on the same frequency. ;) No doubt this will help TMISU unload 8~Sixty and recover some of their cost in moving the sticks from a quarry to a landfill.

Ya think the new owners will say the giant 292 w-N signal is just not worth it
and shut it down every day at sunset? (KUEQ/KMEO 740 was originally a
daytimer.)

Be nice to again get KCBS 740 San Francisco at night. :)

They could make up for it with podcast sales..."if you have trouble getting our signal..go to our website and sign up for our podcasts only $9.99 a month"
