...And Oh,...Such A Chance Meeting.

It's not even a discussion about talent or programming, it's a down economy and no one wanting to take ANY risks. What does that give the audience. Complete crap.

And yet most seem to love it. People have a choice between real art and reality TV. Guess what they choose.

Here's the sad truth about most people: They are cheap, lazy, and have terrible taste. That's why McDonalds and Wal Mart are so popular.

There is already internet radio in cars via smartphones, and it is WAY overdue as a standard equipment piece in my opinion.

Yes, but using smartphones uses enormous amounts of data plans so I still don't see it as real competition -- yet.

As the deee-scusion contiues, I'd like to point-out that we're not slanted against TheBigA, as we all, aside from paying for the subscription, have to either pod-up or listen to what we've got:
Bad Radio Phase I: The free stuff that we have always had, that Corporate Radio down-sized & rurnt!...or...Bad Radio Phase II: The free stuff offerd to us by Corporate Radio, via their server; but you will need a (Go Go)gaget. Free, and somewhat free...all & all the same as uggggg-ly women at a singles bar. Recharge the pod. That way you don't hate yourself the following morning.

based on many posts i see on these forums on many different topics, is it your actual age or the number of years you have been out of the business detaching you from reality that makes you bitter

Freqdev: Well,...now there you go again, Freqy, all Envious, and Errrr-ratated. You were warned about those ugly women, at the singles bar. Like the Consultant said,...they don't test well,...and you should refrain from commiting Ghennie pig.
So,...how's that rash?
You do realize that I'm semi-retired, and debt free. I just do whatever Shickles the Tit outta me, with my biggest dee-sision today being steak or lobster. Yes,...before this type-age,...I had both. So,...you can call me quite a few names, but...
"Bitter"...just doesn't seem to fit very well. I have plenty of time to wait, and I have met every goal that I have ever set for myself. Sooner or later, I will re-enter Radio, in this market,...SCARRRRRRY? Yeah, for some, it will be exactly that! Salem has bought-in, and Cox will sell-out. Both Clear Channel & Entercom, have exchanged e-mails with me. Neither of the two have made an offer, but they both seem to be quite perplexed that I have been correct in predicting their last three books, and the failures that caused them. Would you say it's my "Bitterness" that's made me 3-for-3...???
