He must have made a lot. From what I hear CC offered him a LOT less and he bolted to CBS with his buddy Michael Martin.
 
He has a successful vo business, and is the imaging voice for a number of stations, plus has marketed his own CDs. Why would he want to take a big cut?

MM and the crew he is putting together will do grave damage to what's left of Wild.
 
I tuned in to Wild for the first time in about 3 or 4 years to see if St. John was still doing the VOs....Granted, it was a small sample and only 15 minutes, but no signs of St...
 
Where was it announced that St. John was coming to MOViN? If so, it will be his second time on that frequency. He was there during the X-100 days.
 
I just heard a jock named Chino on Wild 94.9 a few minutes ago.
Is this the same Chino who used to work at Q102 in Philadelphia?
Is Wild giving him a tryout for the now vacant afternoon spot?

word in the CBS SF halls is that J. Love was let go yesterday and Dennis Martinez is filling in all week. MM must be waiting to make the announcement.

Looks like St. John will be doing afternoons.
 
I understand that St. John will be taking over afternoons on Alice. Given his successful track record at KBIG/L.A., it makes sense. It would also explain why they put someone else on Movin afternoons.
 
I checked out the photo and bio. They do not mention that he also does afternoons on Sirius XM-70's on 7!
Actually I mentioned Ron Parker along with Cammy trying to get Kenny In Concord to chime in, I know how much he misses them on the morning drive! ;D
 
1069_KIFR,, Its tough out there, Paying Sirius/XM and getting to hear Ron 8 track on the 70s ,, then Broadway Bill Lee,, Im not a big fan of these two, as for Parker, Bobby Ocean, "Americas favorite Disc Jockey" would be a much better choice for Sirius/XM,,, Im thrilled we have so many choices for Morning drive,,, two KYA streams, KFRC, and my favorite Sirius/XM guy Phlash Phelps,, we are finally safe from Ron and Cammy. those two monopolized bay Area radio a long time! Good riddens! Oh one last thing Magic matt alan on the 70s channel is so much more entertaining than Parker,, WCBS has alot of their staff @ Sirius/XM,,,, Pat St John, Joe Causi, Broadway Bill lee, Ron Parker,, funny how all these CBS employees wind up on Sirius/XM,,, Personnally I would rather have John Mack Flanagan voice tracked,, than hear Ron parker!!
