And Speaking of WBPM....

As of 4 PM that afternoon, WQCD ended its format after almost 20 years as "Smooth Jazz CD 101.9". But now, the station becomes 101.9 WRXP. This station is going to sound a lot like WBPM's "Classic Hits 92.9" along with WDST, WPDH and WXPK's "The Peak" combined. But it does play much of the same rock stuff that you can't get anywhere else on any station. But it does come well in the lower HV area and in tough spots like Poughkeepsie, Newburgh, Peekskill and other surrounding areas. has anyone check out the new format on 101.9?

I think WRXP is a rocker, Osmosis.....no comparison...but doesn't sound like BPM, course not much else does...different formats, sparky....I do wonder why they got rid of the jazz format that was very popular????
