Seriously, how did this guy ever get on the air!?
 
Mr. Bill sounds like someone's grandfather. The guy must be at least 60 trying to hang to his Dr. Johnny Fever days. He has probably been going by Mr. Bill since the SNL skit of the 70's.

My non Voicetracked local Atlanta candidate would have to be Eric from Dave FM. He sounds like he hates this job and loathes being on the air.

Mr (or Mrs) Freebird...first off, a little message board ettiquite. You, at this point, have 7 posts to your credit. When a person who is new goes onto a message board and slams someone, it holds absolutely no credibility. It looks like what it actually is: Somone not liking someone so they think up the idea "Hey, I'll post my dislike for this person, that will make everyone not like them" ...yeah..um, it didn't work.

So what happened? Did he get a job that you wanted? Do you have a crush on him and want his attention?

I've not heard Mr. Bill on the air, so I will limit my comment to Dekker, whom I have heard. To me, a bad jock is a jock who doesn't try. A bad jock is a sleepwalker; just going through the motions every time he's on the air. A bad jock is someone who doesn't allow his personality to come through on the breaks. A bad jock relies more on liners than putting the thoughts into his own words. Dekker is not a bad jock. Definitely not the worst on the air in Atlanta. For what he does on air and where he works (with the demo the station caters to) I'd say he's on his way to becoming one of the best someday, if he keeps working at it. I'd rather listen to someone who has passion for a topic, idea, or train of thought than listen to a liner reader.
 
Dekker, is by far, not Atlanta's worst DJ. He just needs much direction and coaching and is getting none it seems. He isnt noticeably better than when he started. In fact, he was better at the Buzz. If you want to her Atlanta's worst jock meet 99X part timer Lauren. The kids at Georgia State even cringe when she does a break.
 
Mr. Bill has been in this business for a long time. I would venture to say that if he was the "worst on air DJ" he wouldn't still be around. I don't know what station you're on, Freebird, but I seriously doubt you're the authority on what constitutes being "the worst."

As for Dekker, somebody obviously sees something in him. mhicks914 may want to get a real radio show before he comments on others with jobs. I don't think a fake morning show produced in a Clear Channel Atlanta production room counts (http://www.madmikeradioshow.com/).
