And The Beat goes on...

The Beat still continues to be #1 in S.A.! Congrats!!!!

La Kalle 97.7(KLTO)- I really like this station but I wish Univision would give it a little more attention. Despite it's so so signal. I believe this station has the potential to be in or near the Top 10 as it once was when it was at 95.1.

i so much agree bro! unfortunately the young hispanic demo was under sampled by 38% (the main La Kalle audience), so I believe if this can be corrected La Kalle will be back in the Top 10 12+ and Top 5 18-34 like it was a year ago. You know me...i don't stop til i reach my goal and WIN!

I'm not to big on Spanish stations, but KLTO sounds better than KLOL in Houston.

dream on romeo. top 10 12+ on that signal? i don't care how much young hispanics were undersampled. if your station is good enough the weighting will take care of that. but it's not getting written down. plain and simple.

Cnograts, on inching up a tenth of a point, Romeo. Although the Beat is still number 1, we're not talking about monster 7.7, 9.1, or 8.9 shares anymore and that is highly significant. Not to mention by your own admission, young hispanics especially males, are being undersampled which might imply some "phantom" listeners on either the Beat, Power or KISS. Let's not forget, that Power doesn't have the 10,000 joints in a row on this trend, Q109 is still getting some of their X-mas music numbers, and there was something like a 3 week break in the surveys. Moral of the story? You could damn near look at this trend as being "flat". We all know the truth will be told when the actual book starts in April. So let's not break out the champagne bottles [EDIT].

Sincerely, though, you guys are doing a great job keeping up the defense, and it only means we are gonna get some good radio, and promotions from both hip hop stations. Good luck with Bombucha!

Trends are not weighted as they include pieces of two separate survey periods.

Well it's hard to built up listeners when the station is off the air. This is the 3rd time this week La Kalle is off. What's up with that? You know this would never happen to The Beat, KXTN or any other Univision station. Anyways, I hope they get it together soon.

They must be in a bad spot, the storms must of got them, I noticed every time a line of rain would move that way almost every time it would get it, It would also be nice if that channel would broadcast in HD.

So it seems according to the numbers that the Beat remains #1 while Power is slowly slipping. Not good since they are so new.

**ADVICE**
Stop playing OVER edited versions of your songs. Hip Hop fans dont wanna hear a station that wont even play the simplest of words. If you dont know what I am talking about when Power plays SMACK THAT. Prime example.

nice pub the beat got tonight for their listeners trying to kill each other at rosedale park. that's what you get with beat listeners.
