KPLX is killing KSCS again... This has been probably one of the dumbest moves I have ever seen.

And let me tell you - there have been a lot of them...

Oh well there was a TIME when KSCS was gaining ground and even beating KPLX. You guys sure screwed that one up.

Killing them? Kind of like high school math, could you show your work? Or to put it another way, what demos are you looking at, or what figures are you using to draw those conclusions.

Because I look at the 25-54 rankers posted here and see KPLX kicking a** at number 1. And KSCS badly trailing them at...number THREE?

Yes they're trailing them. But they are also ahead of 54 other stations listed in the most important advertiser demo.

If that's killing them, I bet a LOT of stations out there wish they were getting killed like that.

What you really need to see is the trends though, M-F 6a-Mid, ESPN's February was a 3.5 and Fan was at a 1.4. By March ESPN had dropped to a 3.2 and Fan was up to a 2.2. There's still a lot of wobble in the numbers (ESPN a 3.2 March back up to a 3.8 in April) but in a lot of the dayparts ESPN has just lost audience to the Fan. Examples:
3-7p ESPN Janaury a 4.6, down to a 3.2 in July while Fan went from a 1.3 to a 1.9 in the same period.
6a-10a ESPn Feb a 3.4 drops to a 3.0 while Fan goes 1.3- to 2.2

My kids exxagerated like crazy. Saying they're 'killing them' makes you the child. They're only behind them by a couple of points. That's not exactly killing them. And we get that you don't like KSCS, and want to write nasty stuff about them on the bulletin board, like a spoiled teenage girl. But reality is that stations wobble in the ratings ALL THE TIME. It's part of the weakeness of the methodology. One month doesn't make a "killing". It's only been what, 3 months since KSCS was on top?
