And the location for the 2006 CC Christmas Party is...

One local broadcast company had their annual xmas party at a bowling alley last year. Attendees said it was an excellent blowout.
 
sounds like a distinct improvement over eating rubber chicken and listening to boring management pep talks at some hotel.
 
Actually, a few years back I worked at a large market cluster that closed down on a weekday afternoon in December, and had the Christmas party at a big bowling alley. I admit, many of us rolled our eyes at the thought, but you know what, free beer, pizza, wings, junk food every where, plus unlimited bowling and pool, it turned out to be a pretty good time. As hinted at earlier, it beat getting all dressed up for rubber chicken in a cold hotel ballroom.
