This guy won't last long in Phoenix with his racist and hateful show.

Oh--and he used to work for WGY in Albany long long ago before he has a mental breakdown and got locked up for a long time. Somehow the mental patient got a job with the most recent station that went through many format changes before firing him too.

Have fun Phoenix. He's your problem now.
 
He will be great on the broadcasting morning transmitter on KDKB. I really think his strength in this market will be his mutt of a sidekick Marley. Talk about a ratings goldmine. Anyone else enjoy Marley's antics with Gach? Marley really nips at everything!
 
Yeah I hear that Marley on the mic is the next big thing for broadcasting in the Phoenix area. She knows how to deal with those PK files...watch out, if she hears that static she will growl and eat it up.

Wow a blast from my past. I listened to him when I lived in Buffalo,NY. I heard him on WGR 550 and then when WWKB went hot talk in the early 90's with Stern, Don and Mike, Liddy.. they had him piped in to do a show with his wife in the afternoon. I personally liked him and will be tuning in to see what he has going on!!

I always remember the promos " JR on GR" haha

I'm sure they (KDKB) can get him to clean up his act so it will play in Phoenix, and if not, they will have fun back-pedaling in the press! Um, like, we will not tolerate this kind of...blah, blah, blah from our employees.

Gentleman, let's put the jumper cables on this old heap and see if we can jump start this sucker!!!
 
Who can confirm that this is who KDKB is actually going with? Here was a post in Albany that mentions he'll be back on 1/3/2007 at 3pm, which would make no sense if he was actually handling wakeups.

JR Gach, on his website and in an email to Albany Eye, has announced that he's returning to radio. According to a countdown clock on his site, the talk show host will be back on the air on Wednesday, January 3 at 3pm. What it doesn't say is where he'll be on the air.

We can safely say where it won't be. Gach previously worked at Clear Channel's WGY and Galaxy's WCRZ. That leaves several local radio operators who haven't had the JR experience, but there is also speculation that Gach may be going to satellite. Great. More quality radio that you need special equipment to hear. Let's hope not.
