I think Scott will be a good fit for them. They can get some consistancy back in the building and put a stop to revolving door of PD. Hope the APD has some good chops as he/she will be doing alot of the PD work seeing Scott will be traveling between Seatte and SF.
 
Comical really. You bust out a few mill getting a station off the ground then send em to San Fran....only to lower your overall image by the PD revolving door with local business (listeners too) and then expect to come back and even touch KMPS? Better buy a tighter pair of jeans (or stuff the one's ya got).

Well Scott SHOULD be a good fit. He's the PD who launched the Wolf in Seattle, then (as Ivy said) was transferred to SF.

Would the last announcer leaving Seattle please turn out the lights.....oh, and make sure the air conditioning is on so the voice track servers don't overheat!!

Looks like Lance Tidwell wasn't on the beach for long - he's the new CEO of Southern Star Broadcasting.
 
Actualy Lance is the COO of Southern Star. He's in busineess with Chip Miller, another Citadel alum.

Lance and I talked about the appeal of small market radio several times before I left the Wolf and then again on the phone right before he left. We both missed the days of doing good radio that impacted the audience in ways measurable beyond what you could read in Arbitron data.

I think he'll do much better in a smaller market where he can call the shots and, in essence, be the master of his own destiny.

He's a good guy, a real family man, and I know his family is more important to him that any radio job. Living in the country, raising his girls and doing small market radio... sounds like a great move to me.

I wish him well and great success.
 
Bruce Cannon (former KTAC) is doing exactly that ... loving life in the small market radio world. He is the most visible talent on Chelan's KOZI. LOVES the gig, as it's a small town, an awesome destination resort town, and no target on his back from the corporate crowd!!
 
What's up at The Wolf?

Noticed AllAccess has a posting for Middays/Music Director at 100.7 The Wolf. What happened to Michele Michaels? Wasn't she middays/music director/asst. pd?
 
Scott's back!! How else can Fitz's gf take over if they don't fire the midday gal?? ;D
 
If she is in fact gone, they may want to take her off the website!
