And the Triangle's new "Kiss"mas (er, Christmas) station is...

... Y102.9. They're running commercials advertising the fact that "Christmas has moved to Y102.9...", they've switched to full-time Christmas on the air (I don't know about Majic 94.1, but WMAG in Greensboro should follow them within the next few days), and there is now a "Listen Live" link on the main Y102.9 Web page linking to the stream at the Carolina Christmas Music site. You can pick up the stream either from that link or from www.carolinachristmasmusic.com, and the stream will run on Windows Media Player. Enjoy!

Sounds like CC opened a Pandora's box last year when they flipped Sunny to Kiss. As of 3PM today, we now have two Christmas stations (Y102.9 and Mix 101.5)--- I figured Mix would jump in since they're picking up Delilah next week--- and Kiss (not to mention WMAG in Greensboro) is supposed to be joining the party at 5PM Friday. And they all stream! (Although Y102.9's stream may only be for Christmas since the Curtis stations otherwise don't stream...). Three Triangle stations all carrying Christmas, plus WMAG--- and who knows what Majic will do.

MERRY "KISS"MAS!!! ;D

This may be a good time for someone to "flip" formats. Since there is not a Station playing AC or Semi-Oldies ??? ;)

Also Merry "Kiss"mas to all!

Stuart

Wouldn't that be a kick - someone put on a really good AC with some strong personalities and some solid marketing - "has your favorite radio station left you without your favorite music? -- All that great music has moved to whatever FM - and we play a few Christmas songs, too!"
