Thank god!!! Now maybe WCKM will actually begin to sound more like a true Oldies station, more along the lines of WTRY, WXUR and WUPE.

WTRY??? LOL you've gotta be pulling our chain! Yeah, just what we need... another over-consulted 200-song-library voicetracked oldies station like TRY.... geez, some people are hard to impress! At least CKM has a (((wide))) playlist... and get this, LIVE jocks! Even on the weekend! TRY couldn't hold a candle to CKM. At least WUPE is listenable... WXUR still off the bird 24/7 these days? The only *tolerable* CC oldies station in the region is Cool 92.9. TRY and Cruisin' are sewer fodder, to put it nicely.
Although changes are certainly in store for the market now, CKM is the most productive of the three stations, so probably not an immediate priority for programming changes. I do agree that Hits 95.9 should be completely wiped off the face of the earth, but I'm willing to bet that if there's format flips, you'll see a direct competitior to one of the AB stations' formats... probably the vulnerable WENU. You could kill three birds with one stone by programming a good mainstream AC to draw audience and clients from WENU, WJJR and WYJB (and maybe a few from WQAR too). Froggy and Point are too well established to damage, and Classic Rock is just too 'iffy' in that market. Another possibility would be a CHR format on 95.9, but again that'd be very tricky up there with 3 others within range. I hate to say it, but Glens Falls isn't the market to get experimental in. Too close to Albany's big sticks and Rutland can be a real spoiler too. Gotta stick to basics up there.
What's really interesting is that WWSC is in the fold, a real sleeper there. Perhaps as a last resort, take CKM's format & people and move 'em to 1450 and revive the old 'SC, then try a rock format on 98.5. But that's as far out-there as I'd get. 1st, revamp CQL. 2nd, rebuild WWSC. CKM should be the last to tinker with, if at all.
