I don’t think that I’ve ever read a post on here where someone said they are treated well, getting great money and hours, and liked working for either their boss or company.
That’s why I said read the posts below. All that bitching is part of the reason people are bailing out of broadcasting. Then honestly tell me that, with the exception of some seasoned veterans and a few new hires, there are people on-air who are just pathetic.

That's because it doesn't happen much in news broadcasting..especially in Rochester. Most people work really hard and are underpaid. So they leave and find a profession that is more fulfilling. What is the problem with that?

I do think that some on the news media take themseleves too seriously, so perhaps that too can have an effect on the numbers of people "bailing"
