Andelman Brothers

I'm not a huge Andelman Brothers fan but I think they would be a good weekend specialty show for the SportsHub. They could talk food most of the time and sports when necessary. Just a thought.

Since the Andelman brothers take the brokered route to the airwaves, they have the luxury of being able to move thier show if they want...or need to.

Who knows?...if they (and Sports Hub) can cut the right deal with them, it could happen.

I wouldn't worry. I'm sure they'll be around somewhere.

They've already got an "in" with CBS via the Phantom Gourmet show on TV 38 and featurettes on CBS4. I think they're at their best when they are not confined to one topic, though.

Their radio show was entertaining at times and go for laughs. They never liked working Saturdays at WTKK so it'll be interesting to see what happens. I do hope they find a new home somewhere on the radio dial.

What happens to all their adversities from the radio for the time being?

the way they felt about wtkk was this they never even came on the air to day goodbye!! I wonder if there were bad feelings towards greater media?? I think the sports hub would be a great place but if they didn't like working Saturdays what day would they be on?? I don't think cbs radio would displace there midday show on Fris like wtkk did. Sundays? pats conflicts and if the bruins ever play could be conflicts there as well. personally i think there happy with only the tv show and business they run already.

... which is probably why they started doing the show Friday morning and replaying it Saturday afternoon.

They're at their best when they don't run their ignorant mouths about the hospitality industry at all.

For ignorant guys, they have certainly built quite a nice empire for themselves filled with may loyal and satisfied advertisers in the hospitality industry.

BTW, did you once say you host some sort of Bingo or Karaoke or Trivia contests. Do you know the Trivia guy the Globe did a story on last month? Talk about someone suffering from Pronoia and Delusions of Grandeur. Is that guy for real?

You know I'm the guy in the story, right? Or are you putting me on?

No , I have no idea who you are and were only familiar with your posts on this forum. But given the tone of all your posts and that article it all makes sense now.

I'm just happy that my show got a free advertisement on the cover of New England's paper of record.

Can you post a link to the story on here? I am sure everyone one of the regulars on this board would enjoy reading it. I know I found it hilarious.

Surprised Morgan White Jr hasn't been mentioned--done bar trivia since 1990 if not before including
"teams" (tables of customers who compile lists etc to win prizes)

Did you post on the Barstool Sports forum a few years back? There was a frequent poster who hosted trivia nights.

Thanks for the link about Morgan! In the pre-internet days when he did Talking Trivia on WMRE etc he would chide people for kinda cheating by looking up things on their "Leonard Maltins"--film critic Maltin's yearly movie guide books etc Caught him many times in live shows
