Andera Darlas

I can't believe that this hasn't been talked about or anybody has mentioned on this board, and it is hard to believe it is true that Andrea Darlas will be leaving WGN Radio after a 21 year career even through she won't be serving ties with them. Today is her last day doing news reports in the afternoon, she started with her first news report at 2:30 which after that she and John Williams talked about how they started together in the same month at the very least in 1997, when she mentioned she was part time, and he was full time. And she mentioned during the bright side of life being with Hob Williams on her last full time day with WGN Radio, and here is what going on with her she is starting a new job at her alma mater, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Here is Robert Feder's report on it https://www.robertfeder.com/2019/04/11/wgns-andrea-darlas-join-u-chicago-liaison/ . 21 years is a long time to be at a radio station, and she said she feels the she has done everything that she has wanted to do at WGN Radio. And they on their website have put together a photo album that you can look at https://wgnradio.com/2019/04/18/photos-good-luck-andrea/ . Through she will still be heard on WGN Radio hosting Andrea Darlas and the Reporters/Andra's Chicago. Keep an eye out at https://wgnradio.com/on-air/schedule/upcoming-schedule/ of where her show is scheduled to air. I don't know who will be repacking her doing news on nights when sports play-by-play don't air, and the will be Chicago White Sox baseball, Chicago Blackhawks hockey, and Notre Dame basketball, as football games are mainly played on Saturdays, in less they have a game scheduled for another night, which that rarely happens. But you can hear Andrea Darlas on the Roe Conn show this afternoon now, until Chicago White Sox baseball starts.
