Ando offers free online ratings

Good they needed to.

The average advertiser that views their Top 25 station list is very misinformed. I can name at least 5 stations who are not getting tracked by Ando that could easily make it into the Top 5-10 out of that list.

It should be interesting to watch how this all plays out.

I also find it funny that the AOL free bandwidth stations like Digitally Imported, 977 Music, and a few others have VERY INCORRECT stats. Their stats are extremely skewed and false. If those stations were to lose that AOL bandwidth they would be nothing.

If you want an example of what I am talking about, goto Sky.fm and and check out their individual station stats for:
Smooth Jazz
Best of 80s
Mostly Classical
Solo Piano
Love Music

These are all Free AOL Bandwidth (Abacast) stations

then view the other stations that are not on the free AOL Bandwidth like:
American Songbook
Classic Piano
Jazz Classics

Here is what I find funny. Their Salsa station used to have 1500-2000 listeners. Since they took it off the AOL (for whatever reason) it now has around 100

Abacast is a Peer 2 Peer streaming technology that counts all people stealing other people's bandwith which is why those stations have insane amounts of listeners (60% of them are 100% fake) and their non AOL stations have a small amount of listeners because those stations have true number of listeners.

Internet radio is a joke. Everybody is cheating their way to success except for a few, legit stations out there.
