One of them is about debt.
If you had met Andrea Robinson in 2010, you would think she had it all — a hunky husband, a sweet baby, and a sought-after job as the co-host of the Fox News morning show in Phoenix, Arizona.
Robinson worked hard to secure her role at the company after starting her adult career as an intern with the station. It took her several years to climb the ranks from morning traffic correspondent to co-host, and she loved every minute.
“It was a dream job and I was given this amazing responsibility to wake people up — to start their day with a smile even when the world was heavy and chaotic and messy,” she says.
The families that tuned in allowed Robinson and others into their homes every day, which she is deeply appreciative of. But her life wasn’t perfect, mostly because Robinson and husband Chris had hit a roadblock — $52,000 in consumer debt they had racked up.
While their spending was never entirely over the top, they simply hadn’t made the effort to live within their means. Unfortunately, they had started noticing how debt was holding them back, and how it was making life more stressful than it needed to be.
