Born Andrea Marie Truden, in Nashville, Tennessee. She was best known for the disco tune "More, More, More", released in 1976 became a favorite in discos and nightclubs. In early 1977, True released her other Top 40 hit "N.Y. You Got Me Dancing" She is also known for club hits "Party Line" and “What’s Your Name, What’s Your Number”
 
she was one of the few adult movie performers who was able to be a mainstream sucess.
