Sad to report the passing on Andrew Ashwwod, the former Program and Operations Manger at WOAI. He was 51. Andrew left WOAI several years ago to go to Foxs sports as VP/GM. He suffered a massive heart attack on Monday of this week and passed yesterday. He was also battling cancer.I worked with Andrew and was also fired by Andrew but still thought the world of him. He was a great PD that always understood that family came first. When I was having some very difficult times he was always supportive and caring. He loved to party but he also worked hard. You might think that the man who fired me might not be on my list of favorites but Andrew was. We'll miss him. God bless his family at this sad time. RIP my friend.

He was a hell of a guy, and will be missed. No denying he made a big impact on SA radio. Yeah Babe! l ; -) RIP Gorilla, love you man!
