Andy Furman?

Could it be true? Just a rumor but is the sales staff at CC circulating letters, signed by Darryl Parks, addressed to prospective advertisers asking them to support Andy back on the radio? Does Andy know this? Does Darryl know his signature was used? I'm just asking and not saying anything else because Puff is a nice dragon.

If this is true, it could be a win-win for both Furman and CC. The station needs a jolt and Doc's contract is up very soon. I never thought I'd say this but it could be a match made in heaven.

Is Paul not doing well in the ratings? I hope they keep Paul, maybe they can pair the two of them up. I would definitely listen to that. That article a few weeks back about Darryl Parks mentioned that it wasn't his decision to fire Andy, so maybe they are on good enough terms to have him back.

Doc was out of his element this week at Spring Training. He doesn't have the ability to relate to the players and draw them into a conversation. I couldn't count how many times he asked a long rambling question and got a one-word response, then charged ahead to the next question. No follow-up, no insight. It seemed like he was getting paid by the question.

Trumpy and Furman were very good in that environment.

More clarification of this rumor coming in now. Appparently, the letters being circulated were mailed in WLW envelopes, however not penned or signed by Darryl Parks. They appear to have been originated by a local bagel guy trying to drum up support for the return of Furman. However, most know that Furman's M.O. is writing letters, but I'll accuse him or WLW of nothing because Puff is a nice dragon.

OK were these actual WLW envelopes or frauds?

Anyone notice that Furman doesn't do his sports history thing on WDJO anymore? Did WDJO suspect him of negotiating with WLW and pulled him off the air? Uh-oh, I wont speculate anymore, because Puff is a nice dragon.
