No I don't think he has 'Downs'. But God, him and that other sports guy on Wpro, AWFUL.
Why doesn't Wpro spent some money and buy some 'Talent' instead of two guys who sound
like 3 hours later at Happy Hour. The Patriots can do better. ::)

If we can get a BUFFET outside the studio , Andy will never get IN the studio!
THATS how we get rid of him!
Seriously, I know WPRO has to make money = Patriot games, but the hours and HOURS of Patriots talk radio!?
God, I want to receive WABC!

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I fully agree with you guys about the hours and hours of Patriots talk before and after the game. We like the game being on, but we can't stand the talking on and on about such insignificant things like "one shoe lace was tied tighter than the other." or some such stupid stuff.

This new set up, along with the new Sat mng sports show, and Tony & Dan always talking sports, is a little too much!!

The Pre & Post Game are must carries as part of the game package. They originate from WBCN, not from WPRO-AM. And it is Andy Gresh....he only worked in this market for like 10 years.... what are you surprised about?
The Patriots broadcasts are generally thought of to be one of the best in the league...not only the game; but the Pre and Post Game shows. As the saying goes, if you don't like it, you don't have to listen. Personally, rather listen to that stuff than the endless Dean Eddle repeats....

Ah, I agree about Dr Dean Adel. Oh my God, he's a freak! WPRO has Jerry Doyle and Laura Ingraham
to play. WHYYYYY do they play Dr Dean Gabageee instead ?

It is called network commitements....they have had to all the way back to when I was there as an ABC affiliate.

Does Andy Keresh have 'Downs'? I mean, if he does, maybe he's covered by the ADA ?
In todays world, handicapped people need work too and it's pretty cool of WPRO to allow him
on the air, if thats the case.

Wk 92, there's a Special needs man, who works at my station.

I think Linda was just being nice. I think that is obvious..

Don't you think Special needs people can be On Air?

I don't think that she is being nice at all seeing as that comment came out of no where. I have worked with many special needs individuals throughout my whole working career. Having only met Gresh 2-3 times (and anyone who has taken a second to see him on Ch 64 or Ch 12 or Comcast knows that he is not a special needs individual.

I absolutely thought Andy was Downs! I'd heard it for years! Just honestly, he looks Downs. And who cares, if he is or isn't! How do you know for sure? Why do you think that it's an insult?

Linda

Ascribing something to someone (whether it be a syndrome, an ailment or a disease) to someone who does not have it is:
1. an insult to those who do have it
2. an insult to the person

As someone who has done work for the Special Olympics, Meeting Street School, The MS Society, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Make A Wish and The PSP Foundation over the last 20 years on a consistent basis, I take offense for flippant remarks made about people, such as was made earlier. I have not heard anyone ever mention that Gresh has Downs and I have known a number of people who have worked closely with him for a number of years.

So what you are saying is that you've heard 3rd or 4th hand at best that he MIGHT have it and decide to proclaim it on an info board. Nice...
