Andy Rush passed away on May 17th.
Andy worked at KZAP and KROY-FM in Sacramento. He came to Sacramento in 1977 to work at KROI-FM. He moved to Zap in 79 and was the 1st morning man when new owner ship took over. He worked at KFOG in SF in the early 80's doing the Sunday Jazz Brunch and other shifts as well as weekends and The Wax Museum on KRQR. He left SF for LA in 1987 where he worked at KNX-FM, KMPC-FM and KCSN. He was also an instructor at The LAB in Hollywood. For the last several years he was working as a producer at KSWD The Sound in Los Angeles. Andy who was felled by a sudden, massive heart attack was 60.
