I only met him one during a GAB FCC inspection. It was a hoot. He showed up late in the afternoon, a day early, wanting to do the inspcetion. We had our ducks in a row so we let him. It was a blast to hear some of his FCC stories while going down the checklist. Could have easily stayed up all night listening to them. He wanted to get back home to his cats.
