"Animal Practice" is axed by NBC

NBC announced today that "Animal Practice," will air its last episode on November 7. The series has been cancelled. It will be replaced by "Whitney," which was bounced from its scheduled Friday night slot at 8 et/pt. "Whitney" will lead into "Guys with Kids." "Community" still is in limbo, no scheduled start date.

I would dearly love to see video of the meeting at NBC Programming when Animal Practice was green-lighted.

It would probably be NBC's most entertaining time all season.

Shocking :D

I should've taken the picture of the bus stop advertising poster for that show while I had the chance.

I'm sure it was green-lighted after it was white-lined. ;D

Good riddance, I fell out with them after they spoiled the Olympics by putting Animal Practice pop-up ads on my screen and cutting into the Olympics to air an episode. I changed the channel and refused to ever watch this crap.

Honestly, someone should have developed a show around the Van and Cheyenne Montgomery characters when Reba went off the air. They were about the only reason I watched that show as long as I did.
