Why in the world does the sports animal in Knoxville have it's producer on the air all the time...and to beat it all,not even sure who he is,never heard of him
before,at least give us someone who has some experience in the world of sports
broadcasting...this shouldn't be a "learn as you go" type of station if they ever expect to pull decent numbers...I'm not saying just let the guy produce and not provide input, but at least when one of the hosts is off on vacation or whatever, plan ahead a little, and bring in somebody that has some "street cred"..

I don't think it's such a bad thing to give Knowles some time on air. He already does a good job on the sports news updates, so why not let him co-host when Mickey or Jeff is off. I see your point, but I really don't see the harm. Dave Nathan started off in a similiar manner and he has blossomed into a pretty solid host.

Because

1. People with street cred don't get up at 6am.

2. People with street cred sound like Dewey Warren.

I still believe,if you have time to bring somebody else in there, you do it..Why
no let Nathan come on in a litte early and hang with the morning show...Just doesn't sound good to me....but thats just me....I guess if the ratings are
doing well,let it roll!!
