Anita Gevinson Returns To WYSP Tuesday

Yeah,as part of the goodbye. Not unheard-of in history.

How many years are they supposed to give it before declaring the patient dead?

They gave it more than a week. Most stations get....zilch.

Hell Yes, ANITA!!
you would hope they send the station off with some class and not just pull the plug. What about Picozzi, Sonny Fox, (maybe there's tape of Ed) Steve Sutton etc Gary Bridges? Debbi Calton? Denny Somach. Sad to see another station go down. I'll be (on line) listening, same as I did years ago in Allentown when I hoped that someday I'd get to crack that mic and say "94 WYSP Philadelphia"

I have this memory of listening to YSP one summer day when they had a brand new record. I have no recollection of what it was. But it sure must have been important because EVERY 30 seconds the production director's voice came on...."you're listening to a world exclusive on 94 WYSP" talking over the song so MMR couldn't tape it off the air and play it.
Seems unbelievable now, doesn't it?
