Can you believe that. Was just listening to Ankarlo badmouthing Phoenix and KTAR. Not a very bright man since he just got hired there.

I heard Ankarlo is supposed to take the 9-noon shift and Pat will be moved to early afternoon, before Ted and Heidi...??? If so, this means McMahon can tape his AZ-TV show live again. Is 9AM considered a more-prime shift than noon or 1PM?

9-12 is up against an hour of the Nearly Bald One and two hours of El Rushbo,
while 1-4 would be Pat vs. Hannity.
My demo math says yes--Edna in Sun City will be totally confused and will
kiss off radio completely, except for the Giant 580 at 11am on Saturday.

9-noon would be better. But if Pat moves to 1-4, does that mean The McMahon Group falls in PMD? Nothing more stimulating on a Friday drive home than Tom Horne talking about his favorite omelette recipes while Mayor Gordon guffaws.
I live in Dallas and I think Phoenix will love this guy. Sure he's a little over the top on occasion, but he's not afraid to state an opinion like so many talk show hosts. His stance on illegal immigration is dead on....

Gallagher. He said something like: if you missed this morning's show,
you missed Darrell Ankarlo urging his KLIF fans to listen to the Mike
Gallagher show in the mornings on KSKY.
You've gotta know that Mike Gallagher is rolling on the floor itching and scratching and howling hysterically over this.
Will Ankarlo ever get over himself? Great Scott! How does one's ego
get that big? Mike Gallagher was the guy most listened to INSTEAD
of Ankarlo, not in his absence!!!!!!
And by the way, the new KLIF morning guy is better than Ankarlo ever
will be.

I have been listening to your show via the Internet and man you sound like the same old Darrell only bigger! I didn’t think it was possible but you sound more powerful and more at home there. We miss you so much here in Texas but we’re glad we have streaming!! Mike.
I’ve been getting a lot of notes like this one Mike. I was talking to my wife, Laurie, about this the other day and she said she thinks it’s because my new station, KTAR has such talented people doing the news, weather, traffic etc that I sound grounded and ready to rock. I agree with her but add another thought with regard to the “at home” comment: I am in a good environment now. I didn’t realize how toxic my old station was until I got some breathing room. My friends and listeners in DFW (and Tennessee) will always be cherished but some of the people directly involved in the creation of my show in Texas are just plain miserable people. I try not to speak ill of folks but that’s my sincere assessment.
