Ankarlo get a concussion from a car wreck?

Apparently a couple of weeks ago his convertible came out on the short end of the stick with another vehicle and he was transported to the ER. Aunt Carlos did a couple of programs after the accident, but has not been capable of returning since that time - thus the frequent appearances of Kid and Austin Hill. The Buckeye Boyz wish him a speedy recovery!

I wish only the best for Aunt Carlos and hope he has a speedy and full recovery.

Take your time, Darrell, and don't rush back before your ready to come back.

I was listening the day he tried to come back. Apparently he started to ramble and wasn't make much sense. I caught the last bit where he said he had to go home, and then his producer Rob Hunter who has a show on Sunday nights was going to step in and then Kidd Stevens a.k.a. Darren Dammie would be filling as soon as he could get there. After he left and Rob Hunter and Diane Brennan took over the show they talked about how Darrell felt like he had to be there for ratings time, cause according to them it's ratings time and he needs to get paid for working, not sitting around. I also wish him a speedy recovery.

I will say this I enjoy Diane Brennan and am glad she is an unofficial sidekick, co host to the show, she gives it a little balance IMO.

I love Ankarlo, but I must admit that KID is doing a VERY good job as well. He always speaks logic and common sense.... and I'll just leave it at that.

Too bad radio limits you from speaking as much truth as you could because of the fear that dumb callers will call in who do not wish to deal with reality and try to silence you with a lawsuit instead of taking certain steps to logically and sensibly eliminate a problem that exists. I never understood the type of thinking behind trying to silence people for pointing it out and bringing it up instead of changing whatever behavior that is taking place to create the problem in the first place, then when someone says anything, BAM! they are the bad guy for saying it.

Huh?

Could someone decipher this Orwellian doublespeak for me?

Regards to Ankarlo, /prayers go out to him for a full recovery and hope he's back at his gig, bloviating nonsense…

Shouldn't be too hard to figure out...there are only two sentences in the paragraph!

That style of writing reminds me and the Nurse of our truck drivin' friend who was always lookin' for the nearest Sizzler on account of he thought their steaks were a notch up from Ruth Chris' but the whole thing don't matter 'cause his docor said to lay off the high fats and that probably includes our git together at the Big Apple to chow down of some of those tasty Humbles in a pie Lovable One offered a while back but now he seldom surfaces on this board probably because we're just a bunch of Buckeye yahoos well outside the target demo of KT'R where Aunt Carlos hasn't obliviated for almost three weeks now. Remember him?

Yeah.....anyone know his whereabouts? I need a good used lawnmower.

The Luvable One and Ankarlo should get a break from us for a while on here. One hasn't come back from a car wreck. The other lost his wife. These some tough days for our peers over on central.

Jay lost his wife? :'(

Damn, Jay, if you are reading, I am really sorry, grief is indescribable, been there, still doing that.

I wish the best for ya.

Anyone know his future with 92.3?

Austin Hill did a fantastic job filling in for DA past couple of days. Had great topics and chemistry with Dianne B.

I missed that day's show. But I hear that Ankarlo had encouraged mentally unstable people to commit suicide. With all of Ankarlo's hate, fear and misinformation, it seems he is becoming a liability....even to a station like KTAR.

I enjoy Diane Brennan, but I'm not a fan of Ankarlo. The first clip of Ankarlo I heard on your website happened to be of a portion of the show I had heard live. Hearing the way that sound bite was taken out of context took away any level of credibility you might have had. If hanging Ankarlo is your goal, that can be accomplished without taking things out of context. If that's your goal, let him do it himself!

Which clip was that? Explain the context I missed.

It was a long time ago. Even if I found the clip in question, I doubt I would remember the context. Again, I'm no fan of Ankarlo, I think he's full of it, from what I've heard. All I remember is that when I heard the clip, it struck me as a sarcastic comment with the intro/outro context removed.

Been a month since DA has been gone from 92.3's airwaves. What if he's gone another month? Anybody know Plan B?

I'm guessing that TMISU would hire Austin Hill to take over and release Ankarlo from his contract. Ankarlo is probably on long-term disability right now. I think short-term is anything up to 10 working days and long term is anything beyond that.

While I would love to have Austin Hill on KTAR full-time, my thoughts and prayers go out to Darrell and his family. Ankarlo's absence is due to an unfortunate accident and my overriding concern (and I'm guessing KTAR's as well) is for Ankarlo's full recovery and return to the air.
