Some of you on here really believe the stuff you write about Ankarlo. :D

Personally he's a good talent. Is he egotistical? Sure. What good talent isn't am i right?

Yeah it's fun to "pile on" with the BS stories but for some of you, you believe everything on here.

Some on here just don't know when to quit the "Stories". I love to bring my own "entertainment" on here but come on, enough piling on.

Let's learn to seperate the Entertainment BS from Reality. And the reality is Ankarlo makes very good money. He did his best on KLIF with limited tools. Now he has a great gig in Phoenix. I'm happy for him.

The past couple of weeks on these boards have been very entertaining and perhaps even enlightening. I'm impressed with the emotional energy of the relationships people from around the country have and have had with one, Darrell Ankarlo. The posts represent that people that had contact with Darrell years ago rise up now to recount events assumed closed. I don't know what this says about them or Darrell, but it does show the intensity of relationships he has with people. I do suggest that that the radio profession immediately institute RADIO LAWS. No, the concept is not stolen from Miller Lite Man Laws, I thought of the idea first and will be filing suit in federal court as soon as I can get around to it. I have two suggestions

1. Members of the radio profession must accept that other members of the profession will treat them poorly (i.e., yell at you, talk behind your back, lie to you)

2. That there is a statute of limitations (30 days) on any whining about how you have been mistreated by another member of the radio profession.

That is until you write a book about it. ;)

So - how did KLIF do on the investment in Ankarlo? He made "very good money." I would think that if KLIF was doing the same from his time slot he would still be around, no?

Ankarlo and Knapp left KLIF. KLIF did not leave Ankarlo or Knapp.

Both guys have had numbers that sucked since they got in this market. They were doomed from the beginning with KLIF falling off the CLIFF. Both guys are at least somewhat talented and both left for great gigs. KLIF won't miss their ratings but will miss their endorsements. These two guys were on every commercial.
