ANN KERIAN has signed another contract as the Main Anchor for the 5, 6 and 10 pm newscasts at KWWL, the NBC affiliate in the Waterloo/Cedar Rapids/Iowa City/Dubuque market. She has won numerous awards for her reporting. In 2005, she received accolades from the Northwest Broadcast News Association, Iowa Associated Press and Iowa Broadcast News Association.
She is also an award-winning anchor. She was voted BEST NEWS ANCHOR by the Florida Sun Newspaper in Pensacola prior to moving to KWWL in 2003. She was an Anchor/Reporter for WEAR, the ABC affiliate in the Pensacola/Mobile market for 8 years.
Also to add that the Pond Group has former KGAN anchor Dave Benton who is now at WCIA in Champaign-Urbana Illinois (home to another former KGAN alum Jason Elliott who was also at KCCI in Des Moines)
